On The Edge of Town

One listener writes: “This student lived in an old farmhouse with a bunch of other guys at the edge of town. He had a room on the second floor where the land outside that side of the house dropped away and so was taller there than at the front, making it far to the ground from his window, and not easily accessible.
One weekend he went home to visit his parents, and, knowing there may be parties at the farmhouse, he locked the door to his room with a key. When he returned after the weekend, he met one of his housemates as he brought his bags up to his room. “Hey,” his housemate said, “I thought you got back last night, I heard you in your room.”
