Not Too Bad Kid

Did the spirit of a father who loved his child return to help them through life?
Here is a preview of the story.
“My dad was a truck driver and spent a lot of his life on the road. about six years before he passed starting to get sick over the last six years, he and I became awfully close and spent a lot of time together. When he got sick my mom and I took it upon ourselves to take care of him for his long as we could. As for me I have always been a performer of some sort whether that be choir, drama, or just wanting to get up in front of a group of people and tell a story, even sports for a while were my performances. My dad used to love to see me perform whenever he could and when he got sick, He no longer could make it anymore. My dad passed just a few days before my 16th birthday and my first encounter with him after his passing was about two years later when I was 18 working as a cook at a snack bar area in a bowling alley I was used to love to sing and dance to the radio while I cook to clean it one day I was jamming down one of my favorite songs and being very loud and all of a sudden from behind me I hear my dad‘s laugh and turn around and I see him standing in the doorway of the back door of the kitchen and he just looks at me with his big smile and big dimples and says “not too bad kid.” But I am not going to lie it scared me at the time Because I did not expect anybody to be standing”.
