Malicious Intention

A group of housemates is confused and terrified by what they can only describe as an entity with malicious intentions.
Here is a preview of the story.
“Nothing happens until one sunny day while talking across our mezzanine floor to one of the flatmates; I see her standing behind said, flatmate. Big bouncy skirts, full lacy top, hair in a bun, full-on 18-19th century clothes/style. She was not doing anything, just standing there looking over in my direction. The next thing I know, my flatmate has run over to my side, screaming her head off as she said I was not responding to her and was clearly looking at something behind her. So, she figured it out and almost died in fear and run over to me. She said it looked like I was having a bit of a turn, moving my mouth but not speaking; she was truly terrified. The thing is, I was not! I was super sure there was nothing malicious in the house and that it only wanted to get our attention for some reason.”
