Legend of The Bridge

Many towns have “legends” about an infamous and haunted bridge… but are they only “legends”… or could there be a more haunting reality attached to these stories.
Here is a preview of the story.
“Most of what my generation heard about that Bridge was passed down and likely added to and made up over time as almost all legends are over time. With that said, the first time my friends and I went out there to the Bridge, we were not expecting much. There were four of us, my friend Gary, myself and two girls we were dating. Gary and decided to push the envelope upon parking the car on the Bridge. Keep in mind we were seventeen and desperately trying to impress these girls we were with, so he and I got out of the vehicle and told are dates to drive away about two miles to the end of the road, turn around and come back for us, so we can see if anything happens to us while there gone. This plan served multiple purposes; first, as kids that we were, it made Gary and me look fearless and brave, so maybe these girls would like us more (so silly, but we were teenagers), and second, we planned to reposition ourselves about fifty yards away from the bridge toward where the girls had gone to turnaround and come back for us. The plan was as the girls came back down the road to pick us up, we would touch the back is the car as they slowed toward that Bridge and scare them, and after revealing it was just us and this place is not really haunted, we would leave.”
