Why do spirits refuse to leave places that made them unhappy in real life?
This is a question that I ask myself when I hear stories like the one on today’s show. We learn the tale of a haunted plantation and what one couple went through while on vacation.
Here is a snipped from the story:
As the story spilled from the man’s mouth, I watched my husband’s eyes grow wider and wider, as I’m sure my own were doing. I had finally told him what had happened during the night, and in the bright light of morning, it had been easy to tell myself that it was a dream. The man’s story filled me with dread, and my husband turned to me and said, “Tell him about your dream.” I then proceeded to choke out an account of my own experience, followed by pacing the floor of the upstairs hall and repeating to myself over and over, “It was just a dream. It was just a dream. It was just a dream.” Though I well knew it wasn’t.
