Dark Corners

What lurks in the dark corners of a home at night? Is it just a lack of light? Or is there something else, something much more disturbing that lives in these dark crevices?
One listener writes in “I woke up momentarily afterward in a pool of sweat and tried to process what just happened. I looked over to the dark corner of my room where that thing had disappeared to, but I couldn’t see it or sense it anymore. I didn’t go back to sleep that day, just tried to stay away until morning and decided to brush the whole incident off as some sort of weird creepy super realistic dream. The next day the same thing happened, almost at the same time about 5 in the morning. I tried biting my lip to make myself wake up from this nightmare but to no avail. The strange being just sat there looking at me, even though it had no eyes I know it was looking at me and as I expected it got up after a while and went to the dark corner where it disappeared into the wall for lack of a better explanation.”
