Jennifer always thought Pennsylvania’s coal-stained past was enough to give anyone nightmares… until her family home decided to provide a few of its own. She grew up in an aging colonial that creaked more than a crowd at a haunted fair. By day, it was just another century-old fixer-upper; by night, it was a funhouse of floating sensations, weird whirling noises, and footsteps that stopped exactly where no human was standing. Her brother had his private audience with an unseen voice that apparently knew his name better than he’d like. Even so, she never expected an invitation to come upstairs… especially from someone who was no longer living.
