Ye Olde Talbot in Worcester is steeped in history—nearly 800 years of stories, secrets, and ghostly legends. From phantom children to ghostly cats roaming the halls, the inn had its fair share of spooks. But one cold November morning, an even more chilling encounter occurred. While preparing the restaurant for breakfast service, a member of the staff was startled by the sound of rapping on the bar, followed by the appearance of a mysterious figure who vanished in the blink of an eye. What’s even stranger is that another staff member witnessed a man knocking on the locked bar door at the same unearthly hour. Could this early riser have been a restless spirit?
