Palace Theater: Los Angeles

The Haunted Palace in Los Angeles has a “3rd balcony” that was once closed off for racial segregation and became known for its ghost sightings. Orpheum Theater: Memphis

Memphis Lights Up

Reports in this Haunted Theater include patrons seeing “Mary,” a see-through apparition, enjoying rehearsals and performances at this former vaudeville venue. It was originally built as a Grand Opera House at the corner of Main and Beale streets in the 1890’s, the theater later joined the “Orpheum circuit” in 1907.  Adelphi Theater: London

London Theatre

The ghostly tale of actor William Terriss haunts this theater. Terriss was stabbed to death at the stage door in 1897, and is rumored to haunt the Adelphi. According to the talke, Terriss’s understudy had a nightmare the evening before the murder in which Terriss was found bleeding on the floor of his dressing room. Image Source: flickr
